Why do we have it? Who is eligible?
What is it?
The Discovery Junction scholarship is a $2500 grant that will be held in trust until the recipient leaves secondary school to pursue any type of further education - at which time, it will give them an extra budget boost.
Why do we have it?
Our role as teachers and caregivers is to give our tamariki the best start in life we can. We know that there are always shining stars who could shine even brighter if they were given the chance.
Who is eligible?
Every year, we select one bright star to receive the Discovery Junction Scholarship worth $2500. Discovery Junction tamariki who have turned 5 and are attending primary school are eligible.

While hardship is a factor for consideration, our Friends Fund selection team will consider all applications on their individual merits and will strive to help someone's future shine that little bit brighter - and realise more of their potential. π©βπ« Applications close 17th December 2021.
